Therapy for teens, adults, couples & families

Colleen is especially strong with adolescents, relationships, families, trauma, and complicated life situations — and with the anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, and patterns that often come with them.

Teens & Young Adults

Anxiety, depression, autism, school issues, ADD/ADHD, adoption issues, identity, relationships, substance use, transitions, and family conflict.

Parent Coaching

For parents of a teen or child who is struggling. We’ll work on practical parenting guidance, and also the parent’s own anxiety, history, or patterns that often get mixed in with what the child is going through.

Couples & Relationships

Communication, disconnection, conflict, trust, life transitions, and rebuilding closeness.

Trauma & Emotional Health

Anxiety, depression, PTSD, difficult experiences, EMDR, and patterns that keep repeating.

Families & Parents

Navigating conflict, adolescent challenges, changing family dynamics, and strengthening relationships.

Concerns we often work with

Anxiety

Worry, restlessness, panic, and the pressure of holding everything together. We’ll slow things down and build skills that make life feel more manageable.

Depression

Low mood, numbness, or feeling stuck. Therapy can help you understand what’s underneath and move toward connection, meaning, and energy again.

Trauma & PTSD

Painful experiences can live in the body and in relationships. I use trauma-focused care, including EMDR, at a pace that feels safe.

EMDR

An evidence-based approach for trauma and memories that still feel stuck. We work carefully and at a manageable pace so the nervous system can process what talking alone has not fully resolved.

Who I see

Teens, adults, couples, and families

I work with teens and adults, and I welcome couples and families who want help communicating, repairing trust, or navigating a hard season together.

Years in adolescent residential treatment are especially useful when teens are struggling with trauma, attachment, mood, autism, ADHD, or substance use — and when parents need a steady partner in care. I also have experience working with children when that is part of a family’s treatment.
